Supporting aboriginal children at school in Australia

The workshop for teachers and support staff organized in collaboration with The Cultural Consultancy Group in Australia aims to enhance Aboriginal children’s social and emotional development in the school environment. The workshop will be delivered in person and have a strong focus on participants drawing on strategies and engagement tools for supporting Aboriginal children at school. 

The content presented by Janine Cattanach will explore ways of doing things “differently”, working with Aboriginal children, families and communities from a position that is culturally inclusive and appropriate. Claudio Mochi and Isabella Cassina will focus on using the therapeutic powers of play and the Neuroception of safety in children within the school system to support and enrich a child’s social and emotional development.
