Description
Learn how to integrate creative and expressive techniques in Sand Therapy to help child and adult clients develop affect competence—the ability to recognize, express, and regulate emotions.
Through hands-on activities like sandtray play, collage, drawing, movement, writing, poetry, costume play, and modeling, participants will explore multisensory ways to deepen emotional awareness. Clinicians will gain practical tools to enhance attunement, support polyvagal safety, and expand clients’ capacity to face life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
